Citizen as detective
In an interview with the Limburgs Dagblad, internet expert Danny Mekic shed light on this wave of helpfulness in the article “Citizen as detective” (with thanks to @FrankSmilda ). According to Mekic, this can be explained by the excessive individualization and the lack of social cohesion in our society.
“I think humans are social creatures by nature. Helping to find missing people and other crowdsourcing projects gives the feeling and opportunity to work towards a common goal.”

One of the most remarkable developments I personally find is the new Twitter georgia mobile phone number list account @JulianRubenNL . Every day, a number of people there keep track of all the news in real time of what is happening in the case surrounding Julian and Ruben. They bring and arrange the news. They also maintain a dialogue with their many followers to interpret the news dealing with yet another disaster tourist on Twitter , but in a week they have largely dispelled this concern. Every now and then mistakes are made, but they correct them very quickly. I notice that when I want to hear the latest news about this case, I first go to their account before I visit the traditional media.
