The global expansion will allow Shopify stores in Spain to connect to the Pinterest app within their dashboard and automatically tag, create a catalog, receive organic distribution and launch Traffic, Conversion and, for the first time, dynamic retargeting campaigns.
In addition, retailers will have access, for the first time, to two new products:
Dynamic retargeting : This will allow you to re-engage Pinterest users who have shown interest in your products on the platform.
Multiple Catalog Feed Option – A new feature that allows brands to upload their items to different product feeds within the same Pinterest Business account. This means they can upload a specific feed for each market they have a business presence in , as well as feeds for different advertising strategies, such as lead generation or retargeting.
Ability to reach new audiences through organic searches on Pinterest
According to research by the social network, 97% of Pinterest's top searches are not associated with any brand . In addition, they contain only 2-3 words, meaning that most consumers do not include the brand name in their searches. On Pinterest, businesses of any size have the same chance of being discovered by the more than 450 million people egypt business email database who are searching for products and services, are open to all types of brands, and are planning their next purchase. This unique mindset on the part of the public is very advantageous for SMEs to gain more visibility due to the relevance of their content and the quality of their products.
“SMBs in particular have a lot of opportunity to thrive on Pinterest by being able to connect with consumers in a positive environment, right when they’re in the early stages of decision-making and demonstrating purchase intent. It’s clear that the retail ecosystem has evolved tremendously since last year, and we’re committed to supporting merchants of all sizes with quick and easy access to our shopping features — all without them having to code or deploy resources — so they can inspire consumers to take action and buy,” said Bill Watkins, Global Head of Mid-Market and SMB Sales at Pinterest.
“Social commerce has been a driving force for our retailers in Spain, allowing them to promote their products to significant audiences. In particular, over the past year we have seen a 76% growth in the installations of our social commerce channels globally. In Spain, the number of stores on Shopify has grown by 70% in 2020. The expansion of the Pinterest channel in Spain means that Spanish retailers can now take advantage of the purchasing power of more than 450 million users of the platform by creating well-analyzed marketing campaigns targeted to a specific audience ,” comments Kintxo Cortés , Head of Market Development at Shopify Spain.
