Personal data & check-out

Post by Abdur14 »

Shopping cart
The shopping cart is also a space where you can do cross-selling: I recommend that you do it in a very subtle way with the following formula: “Since you are going to buy XXX (Main purchase intention) we recommend that you add YYY & ZZZ (Complementary products) to the shopping cart” with some claim to make it attractive: it can be from a discount to free shipping costs.

Once your customer has reached the personal data entry stage, i.e. the check-out page, I am of the opinion that you should let the customer finish the order without too many distractions as it can affect conversion rates.

Order completed: The purchase success page, as well el salvador number data as the order confirmation email, are perfect spaces to configure your cross-selling strategy.
Checkout page: Usually, checkout pages are designed like this: they confirm the items, address, and delivery address. However, this page is one that customers tend to pay attention to. Take advantage of the spaces within your checkout page to add complementary products or services.
A clear example of how you could do it is something like “Take advantage of shipping” if you are selling jeans, imagine that you offer them a 30% discount on belts and accessories if they complete their purchase in the next 12-18 hours.
