The price information for cafes, restaurants, etc. is regulated in the so-called Price Information Ordinance (PAngV for short) . If you offer food and drinks, you cannot simply specify the prices as you wish. Instead, the following exemplary regulations for price information must be taken into account:

Your offer is excellently priced.
Your prices are final prices, for example including catering VAT .
A clearly visible menu and drinks list are displayed at the entrance.
Your prices do not contain vague price ranges such as “from 10.99 euros to 15.99 euros” or “around 10.99 euros”).
Your drinks will be listed on the drinks menu in the quantities offered.
