Obtaining a qualification is an effective way to prove your skills as a server engineer, but it also has another major benefit. That is, by studying for the exam, you can acquire general knowledge and skills in a well-balanced manner. Qualifications do not necessarily give you an advantage when changing jobs, but the challenge itself is very meaningful.
So, this time we will introduce 5 qualifications that are useful for server engineers. We have summarized the overview of each qualification, how to obtain it, and the examination fee, so please refer to it.

5 useful certifications for server engineers
From among the many IT-related qualifications, we have compiled a list of the most useful qualifications for server engineers. If there is one that matches your interests, please give it a try.
01. LinuC (Linux engineer certification)
"LinuC" provided by LPI-Japan is a Linux-related qualification that is an essential skill for server engineers. Obtaining LinuC certification will show that you are a server engineer who has acquired cloud/virtualization technology, which is highly required of server engineers today. The LinuC exam is divided into four levels of difficulty, and the scope of questions and the level of technical difficulty required vary. Below, we will introduce the characteristics of each level.
LinuC Level 1 (LinuC-1)
The exam is characterized by the fact that it tests basic Linux system operation and system management regardless of whether the environment is physical or virtual. Server engineers who are familiar with basic Linux operation and system management in practice can easily obtain the certification, but it is also a good idea to understand the basic concept of security in a cloud environment and the open source culture.
To obtain the certification, you must pass both the 101 and 102 exams.
LinuC Level 2 (LinuC-2)
Level 2 tests your skills in configuring and building Linux systems, including virtual machines and containers, and networks. This qualification certifies that you are an engineer who can design, implement, maintain, and solve problems based on architecture, as well as build Linux systems and networks, including virtual environments.
To obtain the certification, you must pass both the 201 and 202 exams.
LinuC Level 3 (LinuC-3)
This is a qualification that recognizes you as an expert in the various fields that server engineers should be involved in. The exam content is divided into the following areas:
300 Exam: Skills related to design, construction, operation and maintenance in a mixed environment (Windows, Linux, Unix)
303 Exam: System design and maintenance skills at high security levels
304 Exam: Cloud Computing Systems Design and Maintenance Skills
Passing any of the above three tests certifies you as a specialist in that field. In other words, obtaining LinuC Level 3 certification is proof that you are a server engineer with in-depth knowledge and skills in your respective specialty.
LinuC System Architect
This is a certification that recognizes advanced engineers phone number library who can design and build optimal architectures for large-scale systems.
To obtain the certification, you must hold a valid LinuC Level 2 certification and pass both the 201 and 202 exams.
