You'll most likely be more impressed when the sender's address bar contains the company name, "Eva from your favorite bakery" or "Martin Novotný from (company name)" than, say, an impersonal no-reply .

As a sender, be personal. As you can see, little is enough.


Once the person opens your message, you should serve them a newsletter that is really worth reading. How do you do that?

Make the first sentence catch the eye – it will determine whether the user continues reading. Ideally, place this first sentence in the top left corner of the newsletter, where the reader's eyes will go first.
