Here, simply uncheck the option Allow people to post comments on new articles. This means that all future posts created on your site will have comments disabled.

This particular method has two drawbacks. First, like the previous option, it doesn't remove any existing comments on your site (you'll still have to delete them manually).

Also, this won't disable comments on your existing posts either, only new ones. Fortunately, there's a little trick you can use to handle this content as well. On the same page, locate the Automatically close comments on articles older than _ days option, check the box, and add 0 to the field.
