Empire, there was the Restoration

Post by jrineakter »

As I forget a lot… I read a lot, it interests me, I forget a lot of things, well I reread again and I really like to make sure to cross-check the information a little. Sometimes you will read about one part of the story and you will see the influence that it has on another part of the story. So, you will reread the second part of the story, then you will see that a lot of things overlap. It is a kind of infinite knot where you pull on a thread and you have a lot of things that come and all these threads are tangled with each other. So, it is something very interesting.

I have the opportunity, thanks to the modules of the Authentic French academy , to dig a little deeper, because we create historical modules. So, not only that, there is a module every month in the Authentic French academy including historical modules. For example, we tried to make a module in which we talk about the history of France since the Revolution, because I am asked, sometimes people say: "But why are you in the Fifth Republic in France?" Because it is not... Unfortunately, history is always very complex and we did not have the revolution, we kill the kings, there is no more king, it is over, it is the republic, and that's it, that's how it is.

No, after the Revolution and the First Republic, there was the , the kings who came back, there was a republic again, etc. we had a Second Empire, there were many historical events that made hong kong whatsapp number data France have the culture it has today. This is another big advantage of studying a little history, is that we can better master the culture. This is also why we teach history in the Authentic French Academy . It really allows us to go further and better understand the culture.

Being interested in history, for me, in France but also in the whole world, is something, it's a nice hobby that is also, in my opinion, very useful. I do it thanks to books obviously, thanks to biographies, thanks to audiobooks on Audible, I like them a lot. For a very long time, I didn't really like listening to audiobooks because I like reading, writing, taking notes, underlining, which you can't really do on an audiobook, I understand. So history has always been something that interested me in listening to. So, I do both. On Audible, there are a lot of very interesting programs on history.
