The evaluation
The assessment itself is carried out for one person. This person was previously recorded in the personnel data and can now be selected in the “Assessment” worksheet.

To do this, the corresponding name is selected from the list and the date of the review (evaluation) is entered.

If previous ratings already exist, these must now be removed. To do this, simply select the "rating area" in the name field at the top left and use the "Delete" button to delete existing crosses.

Now just update the filter in column F (“Request concerns role” = “yes”) and the evaluation can begin.


These are now evaluated according to the following criteria:

0 % barely noticeable (learning field)
50% meets the requirements in general
100% fully meets the requirements
150% exceeds the requirements
200% significantly exceeds requirements

Once the evaluation is complete, it can be transferred to the “Database of all evaluations” worksheet for later comparison.

To make it easy to copy, select the copy line using the name field, copy it with Ctrl+c and taiwan telegram data paste it into the next free cell in the “Database all ratings” worksheet. Please note that you should only paste text and not copy the formulas (right mouse button, select “Paste values”).

Comparison of previous evaluations
In the “Dashboard Database Entries” worksheet, up to four previous entries can be compared and contrasted in a spider view.

Only comparisons within the same role can be meaningfully evaluated, since the competencies differ across roles.

To select the reviews to be displayed, select the review ID from the “Database all reviews” worksheet.

The graphics can, for example, show the development of previous evaluations or the comparison of several employees in a department.

The main advantages of our Excel template: It is easy to use, practical and of course free. You can use it intuitively and easily in your everyday work and you don't need any previous knowledge. Thanks to the clarity of the table (the colors of which you can adapt to the corporate design of your SME), you can see immediately where you stand. But of course such a table is limited in its usability: It is not suitable for larger companies.

This method also requires special attention to data protection. The Excel file should be protected with at least a password, prevent unauthorized access, copying, forwarding and deletion of data and ensure traceability of data entry.

Disadvantages of using an Excel file for HR performance are mainly:

the vulnerability to human errors in data entry,
the lack of control options,
as well as the potentially very easy manipulation of the data from both sides.
For larger companies, it is advisable to invest in employee appraisal software .
