A study by Searchmetrics showed that the number of backlinks on Bing has a much higher correlation with rankings 0.29.
What’s more, among the top 30 sites in Bing, 52% to 53% of their backlinks contain keywords in the anchor text about 10% more than Google.
Apparently, increasing the size of your link profile is a very effective SEO strategy for Bing. It may not give you the same boost in Google searches, but it can’t hurt either as long as you remember to avoid spam at all costs and choose relevant sites to build links from.
As for anchors, "over-" optimizing them can work for Bing, but it can also cost you Google rankings. Understandably, there's no universally safe threshold for anchor diversity: it depends on your niche and the types of keywords you're targeting. But here are some things that can at least give you a very approximate idea.
In a study on the Penguin effect, Microsite Masters analyzed morocco mobile database thousands of websites to investigate whether sites that dropped in rankings after Penguin were guilty of over-optimizing their anchors. Interestingly, it turned out that sites that were hit had the target keyword in the anchor text in more than 65% of their backlinks, while sites with the keyword in 50% or less were "almost guaranteed" to be unaffected by Penguin.
6. Social Signals
There has been a lot of back and forth about whether Google uses social signals for organic rankings. Bing, on the other hand, doesn’t shy away from admitting that it does.

If you are influential on social, this can lead to your followers sharing your information widely, which in turn can lead to Bing seeing these positive signals. In the long run, these positive signals can influence how you rank organically.”
