Programmatic is on everyone's lips

On Thursday, Switzerland's first Programmatic Advertising Day took place in Zurich, supported by the BSW, IAB and SWA. Anyone who had one of the coveted tickets for the sold-out event quickly realized in the packed Volkshaus that programmatic advertising ("automatically booked advertising") has definitely arrived in Switzerland. The overarching question is: is the quality of the inventory purchased via programmatic advertising gradually increasing? The answer: yes, it is. The so-called "programmatic private deal", or "deal" for short, is a new application on the market that takes the quality aspect into account. Basically, a "deal" is nothing new: advertisers and publishers negotiate the conditions under which an advertisement should be displayed as before. The only difference is that the contract is not sealed with a piece of paper, but with the help of software. As a result, advertisers can book further campaigns with the publisher via the same "deal" at any time - simply at the touch of a button.
