Fixed period based on resources

We have obtained the previous screen by splitting the view into Activity Management ( activate the View box from the menu Details ).

We have assigned Giovanni e Franco for the activity Assembly on site , with a fixed duration of 5 days and not resource-dependent .

The result is that two resources must work 40 + 40 hours of work to complete the task in 5 days.

At the top right of the view (defined as Timephased ) let's look at the assignment of daily work hours.

Let's now try to unassign the two resources and transform the activity switzerland rcs data Assembly on site into an activity with a fixed duration based on the resources .

We do this by activating the checkbox Resource-based (1) as in the figure below (remember to click on OK ).


Franco , the only resource assigned at the moment, will work for five days for a total of 40 hours.

We assign it by clicking on the empty line below Franco (2), Giovanni and click Ok to confirm.
