How to do keyword research

Post by Reddi2 »

There are currently multiple tools that help us find those keywords that will help us position our content in search engines. These are some of the ones we use at We Are Marketing :

Keyword Planner : This tool allows us to get ideas for new keywords, with their uae phone number data monthly searches and their competition (in AdWords), which makes it much easier to know the possible performance of a list of keywords.

Answer the public : I use it mainly for TOFU content (What, How, Which...). This tool provides us with a list of terms linked to the keyword we are looking for. It also includes the questions that users usually ask in search engines when entering that search term.

Semrush : allows us to perform an exhaustive analysis of competitor keywords and provides us with information on the average number of searches for the keyword or its search trend.

Google Trends : This free tool from Google allows us to compare the search popularity of various words or phrases and find out the level of searches over a given period of time.

Once we have the keywords, the next step is to obtain the search volume and difficulty of each keyword and group them by topic using an Excel dynamic table.

'Search volume' represents the popularity of keywords, the number of times a user searches for a keyword through search engines during a given period of time. The result helps us to know the potential of a keyword and thus to intuit how much traffic we could generate if we used it on our site.

4 Week Calendar: Planning is key to any strategy
The Four Week Calendar is a tool that will help us plan, organize and control the contents of a Content Marketing strategy month by month. It should include the topics to be discussed, as well as the Buyer Persona, Keywords, Calls To Action and the stage within the Sales Funnel.

In the article How to make an editorial calendar and, most importantly, stick to it, you have different examples of calendars that can help you in your business.

From the most basic thing, which is to discover which keyword will help us position ourselves on the Internet, to the creation of a complete content calendar, you can now start your own keyword hunting that, if used well, will help you improve your visibility.
