The new wizard for the link column and the extended query options will delight database fans in particular, but not only them! SeaTable makes databases as simple as they should be!
shortcuts made easy
Linking entries was a bit tedious in version 1.3. A dropdown menu listed the entries of the first columns in the linked table. Compact, but impractical if the linked table had two or more rows with the same values in column 1. This problem is solved in SeaTable 1.4!
The dropdown has made way for a new, detailed and context-sensitive india rcs data wizard. Double-clicking on a cell opens it. If the cell is empty, the wizard displays the first columns of the linked table. Confusion about which entry in the target table is the correct one is now a thing of the past. If you double-click on a cell with already linked entries, the wizard displays the details of the linked entries. Additional entries can be linked using the "Add new link" button in the top right corner.
New wizard for link to other records columns
The new wizard simplifies the linking of tables, but that's not all it can do. You can also create new entries in the linked table directly from the wizard. Without having to switch tables, without clicking or wasting time. With the new wizard, you can work in two different tables at the same time.
