Dmitry Tur, Director of the Department of the State Telecommunications Market of the Ministry of Digital Development, also speaking at the forum, recalled that, according to the decision of the State Commission on Radio Frequencies (SCRF, the main body that deals with the distribution of this resource in Russia) adopted in 2021, from 2023 MTS, MegaFon, VimpelCom and T2 RTK Holding will have to use only domestic equipment in the construction of LTE networks. "We jordan cell phone number list are participating in the discussion between operators and manufacturers of base stations and are guided by the fact that these base stations will be installed on the networks in 2025. Taking into account the forward contracts that will be signed, we plan to adjust the terms of this decision [SCRF] this year," Tur said. According to him, SCRF plans to consider these changes at a meeting in December of this year.

After the start of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, the United States and a number of other countries banned high-tech exports to Russia. Because of this, the world's largest manufacturers of telecommunications equipment suspended deliveries of their products to Russia. Subsequently, the United States excluded telecommunications and Internet equipment from the sanctions list. Nevertheless, the American Cisco, the European Nokia and Ericsson, and a number of other vendors announced a complete cessation of operations on the Russian market. The Chinese Huawei and ZTE did not make such statements, but in fact stopped concluding new contracts. In mid-October, Izvestia, citing its own sources, wrote that Cisco could resume deliveries of telecommunications equipment to Russia through the Russian company IBS, but the company itself did not confirm such an intention.
