This first method uses the WPCode plugin . With this plugin, we will insert a custom code snippet that will prevent your website from storing IP addresses from the comments section.

If this is your first time using code, don't worry. WPCode's user-friendly interface makes it easy for even beginners to insert and manage custom code .

To use WPCode, you will first need to install the plugin in your admin dashboard. For more instructions, see our article on how to install a WordPress plugin .

Note: This article uses the free version of WPCode , but you are welcome to upgrade to a Pro plan to get advanced features like conditional logic and scheduled snippets.

Now you need to go to “Code Snippets” + Add Snippet in your WordPress admin area . After that, click on the “+ Add Custom Snippet” button under “Add Custom Code Snippet”.
