"While the information security market is actively developing, security systems are in demand in commercial companies and require a completely different approach to organizing processes. Accordingly, the Garda Group is an established ecosystem of in-demand security products, and thanks to strong management and independence in choosing a strategy, the company has opportunities to become a market leader," the press service of ICS Holding concluded.

Leonid Delitsyn, an analyst at the financial group Finam, said that in the case of American companies in the information security (IS) industry, there is a pattern: large structures with a staff of over 4.5 thousand specialists receive higher revenue per employee than smaller ones. "Perhaps there is a certain size after which a company begins to receive larger orders, for example, from the state, or perhaps small players in the market are simply younger and have not yet reached the potential level of revenue. The volume of orders is positively affected by a higher market share occupied by an organization. It is probably convenient for customers to work as a single supplier of several types of services. The same may be true for Russia, which is why IS companies are striving to become larger. So far, the market is fragmented, and the share of large players rarely exceeds 5%. It is unlikely that ICS Holding will soon sell the united Garda Group. Even from the point of view of a possible IPO, it seems profitable to have a universal IS player with a high market share in the structure," Leonid Delitsyn believes.

A well-known analyst in the Russian information security market, on condition of anonymity, shared the assumption that the separation of GC Garda from Citadel may be the first step towards selling this new player in the information security market. "ICS Holding" was strongly tied to the sole owner - Anton Cherepennikov, - he told a ComNews correspondent. - After his untimely death on July 22, 2023, it is unlikely that the heirs will be able to maintain such a ramified and diversified structure, so I would expect the division of ICS Holding into business blocks. First of all, it is logical to sell those businesses that require special connections - in the world of information security (that is, GC Garda) and in the special services (GC Citadel). I will not be surprised if in six months GC Garda ends up with Sber, which is actively investing in the information security sector and the affiliated company Bi.Zone. Moreover, Rustem Khairutdinov, a native of Bi.Zone, became the second person in the Garda Group of Companies.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the parent company of Bi.Zone, UK Bizon LLC, has been wholly owned by the combined closed-end mutual investment fund Global Management since November 9, 2022.
