In this particular case, we see that Facebook is bringing in a lot of bad traffic. Luckily, you don't have to pay for the posts that drive traffic on this site. But even if it's free, you still need to do something to keep people on the site.
After reviewing pages with high bounce rates, pay attention to those where people leave and end their session.
Pages with high exit rate
For each page, the number of exits and their percentage are shown. By default, the pages with the highest exit rate are at the top of the lists.
Unfortunately, there is no way to apply weighted sorting like with bounce rate, but you will get enough information if you sort the pages by exit count and look at the column with numbers.
ExitPages
We see several pages of posts and recipes engineer phone number data the highest exit rates.
Note that not all pages on the list are really bad. For example, on e-commerce sites, if a visitor exits from the checkout page, they have made a purchase — and that is a target action.
Analyzing the flow of visitors
Looking at exit and bounce rates alone only tells us a fraction of the story. We also need to determine what paths visitors take. This will help us figure out which pages a person visited before leaving the site. To see these paths, we can use the Behavior Flow report.
To open the report, in the Google Analytics reporting interface, select Behavior - Behavior Flow. The report shows the most used paths that visitors to the site follow. Here you will see the top pages along with the volume of exits at each stage of the path.
