Rostelecom has completed the second stage of modernization of the regional automated centralized warning system of the Republic of Ingushetia (RACWS).

The RASCO of the Republic of Ingushetia includes a regional center and local control points located in nine municipalities of the republic. In each district, the warning system is managed by unified duty and dispatch services that can promptly transmit information about the occurrence of emergency situations. RASCO functions in a continuous round-the-clock mode and is in constant readiness to perform assigned tasks.

"The relevance of the functioning of the RACO for timely informing citizens, government bodies, and civil defense forces about the possibility of military conflicts and emergency situations is high. The performance of the warning system is regularly monitored, and equipment checks are carried out," noted Magomed Aliyev, Minister of Civil Defense and Emergencies of the Republic of Ingushetia.

The modernized notification system is technologically adaptive and, if necessary, can be integrated with the Safe City APCS, the 112 System, the Smart City solution complex, and the Integrated Life Safety System for the Population (ILSPP).

"The operation of communication channels for RASCO is organized on the basis of a modern data transmission network. For reliability and stability of the connection, the main and backup channels are used. Based on our own developed telecommunications infrastructure, our specialists were able to provide stable communication to each facility. All devices are connected to a single network. Operators can manage them locally and remotely. The modernization has increased the efficiency of the system and expanded its functionality," commented Azamat Chakhkiev, Director of the Ingush branch of Rostelecom.

From September 1, 2023, a new procedure for the creation, reconstruction and maintenance of permanent readiness of warning systems for residents came into force in Russia. The national provider is implementing projects to introduce automated systems that ensure reliable transmission of a signal about a possible danger in all regions of Russia.
