The operating system (OS) can be deployed both on new servers and on those already in use by the client, and also installed on the user's servers located outside the Selectel framework.

"During the alpha testing stage, we noted a certain interest in the operating system from more than 200 clients," said Igor Lepikhin, Head of Software and Hardware Solutions at Selectel. Kirill Dmitriev, the product manager for the Selectel Server Operating System, told a ComNews correspondent that the OS is currently designed for both standard and custom-built server configurations built on x86 processors. "However, in the future we plan to expand its compatibility with processors of other architectures," Kirill Dmitriev explained.

Kirill Semion, General Director of the ANO "National Competence Center for Information Systems of Holding Management" (NCC ISU), believes that this OS is unlikely to be noticeable on the domestic market, since there are already many such operating systems: "This OS will be in some demand, but it is unlikely that it will take a significant market share. The market for these products is already divided between other companies. Perhaps, the Selectel OS is oriented towards a specific consumer or will have an attractive price. This will allow it to become noticeable on the market."
