Every day, OATI specialists assess the quality of the road surface in the capital: all main highways are checked, as well as roads under warranty from organizations that replaced the top layers of asphalt. Attention is also paid to small district streets, especially when citizens report sunken manhole covers or broken speed bumps.

The diagnostic laboratory significantly simplifies the process of assessing the condition of roads. Thus, if earlier the rut depth had to be measured with a 3-meter road rail, and it was necessary to measure every 100 m, now, thanks to the road laboratory complex, this process takes much less time: all data on all traffic lanes on the Moscow Ring Road can be obtained in a week. Over the course of a year, the diagnostic car travels 11 thousand km of Moscow roads.

"The detected defects are automatically included in the repair plan for a specific section of the road," Aleksandr Larin emphasized. OATI specialists identify deficiencies and send notifications to the road balance holder about the need to eliminate them. Subsequently, using the same mobile laboratory, it is checked whether the repair was carried out and whether it complies with regulatory requirements.
