Control is lost in the blink of an eye

Post by Bappy32 »

The mayor then added his two cents by first announcing that a party would be organised and then coming back to this later. In short, where is that party, here is that party! Haren will not soon forget it. The rest of the Netherlands could see on television, among other things, how hundreds of people moved into Haren and some of them caused riots. Happy 16th birthday.

Similar incidents have occurred in other countries. From massive parties to the panama mobile phone number list robbing of shops after calls on social media. Or recently Simon Keizer, from Nick & Simon, who received a lot of negative reactions after a Facebook call to his followers to donate to the Philippines. What on earth was he interfering with? Well, you never do it right when you get involved in a public debate.

Social Media Loss of Control

What does all this have to do with Trijntje's call to like? At first glance, not much. But on a fundamental level, everything. Namely, that what you share on social media is part of the public domain and can take on a life of its own. To the point where you no longer have any control over it. So know what you share and with whom. Especially if you have many followers.
