In the cool morning I woke up with a smile of "What a great night it was..." and looked at the lower side of the mountain opposite where Itax was sitting under the first rays of the morning sun, the guys slowly woke up and I lit the barbecue to make coffee. Itax slowly climbed up for some reason and sat down in a higher place, we all got busy with the morning arrangements and Itax had already disappeared from our sight...

After 20 minutes we heard screams and saw stones being thrown at us from a high part of the mountain. Gal, Itax's childhood friend, told me that something was wrong and that he was going up to check. I stayed down and Gal went up with another friend. I remember we didn't think it was that serious, and that the whole thing would end so quickly. "What could it be?"

I remember Gal and the other guy looking up at a very sharp angle, too sharp.
They shouted and tried to guide him on how to get down, there were also moments of silence accompanied by successive glances from the guys who had gone up, at a certain moment a common cry was heard from everyone -

Itax - Itamar Barzilai. Died at the age of 21 on 5.4.1997.

yesterday we have also been in a nice pool that the locals build, and its fucking damn fun hardcore, yotam you would love that for sure..
today we gonna jump for some hours to germany to skate the carharrtt skatepark there and tomorrow we will come back to zurich to finish our journey ....
