Recently, a strategy has emerged that is becoming popular, namely partnering with Instagram influencers (which is actually nothing new) and creating giveaways with them.
This influencer giveaway is pretty straightforward. You partner with an account that has a following, and they create content that requires their followers to follow your account and one of those new followers will be selected to win a prize.
This isn’t a completely organic tactic, but it has proven to be quite valuable and produces interesting results. Just make sure to make the contest fair and actually give someone a prize.
Quick tip. When looking for influencer accounts to contact, you can send them a direct message, this seems to be the best way. However (from experience), many of them will not even see your message because they receive so many messages every day.
When writing a DM, make sure the first few words clearly state why you’re sending them a message. That’s the only thing the recipient will see before they click on the message. This will help the message stand out.
Get their email (which is often in their bio or on their website), add them to a list and launch automated outreach to save time.
8. “Partnering”

Since we already started the influencer topic in the previous section. One of the simplest ways to gain additional followers is the “I promote you, you promote me” strategy. Your account should already be quite large. Your account should at least be comparable to the second party you want to work with.
If you have a smaller account, maybe you have another value proposition. Maybe you have a stronger Twitter presence or something else to exchange.
