I wanted to continue the series of short interviews for the blog with famous marketing professionals. Of course, I immediately turned to Igor Kachalov , one of the best Russian marketers, managing partner of the Agency "Kachalov and Colleagues" . Igor, in addition, has been working in Kazakhstan for a long time, actively and successfully. He immediately agreed, for which I am very grateful to him.

1) Igor, in your opinion, is there any specificity of marketing activities in Kazakhstan in comparison with Russia? If so, what is it?

You are characterized by a more accurate assessment of your market today and a more positive view of the prospects for market development.

2) What practical consequences might the creation of the Customs Union have for marketing professionals and companies (marketers, researchers, advertisers)?

Growing competition. I know many managers in Russia who have already included Kazakhstan in the list of priority regions for their sales. Get ready – it will be hotter!
