Several metrics that SEO professionals should track

Post by samiaseo222 »

Now that you know how to get attribution data into your CRM and run reports, here are some ideas for reports you should track to demonstrate the value of your SEO efforts.

Number of Leads from SEO vs. Other Channels: The report shows how many leads were generated through various marketing channels.

Number of customers from SEO vs. Other channels: The jamaica phone number data report shows how many customers were generated from different marketing channels. It can also be useful for calculating the conversion rate of leads to customers. It is quite common for leads from organic search to convert much better in the funnel than from sources like Facebook ads, because these leads often have a problem that your product/service solves and are actively trying to make a purchase.

SEO Revenue by Landing Page Group: The report shows the amount of revenue generated by customers who came through SEO, broken down by landing page group (i.e., a grouping of pages based on a subfolder in the URL). This report will help you see what types of content are generating customers & search engine revenue, and help you determine what needs to be created more. Similarly, if you notice a change in the amount of customers & revenue coming from SEO, this report can help you identify what happened. Was it because your homepage saw a rise in rankings? Or is it because the blog posts and webinars you’ve been diligently creating are starting to take off?

Average Store Size from SEO vs. Other Channels: The report shows the average store size for customers who came through SEO compared to customers from other channels. This can be useful, when combined with the number of customers who came from SEO and the conversion rate, when modeling a potential budget increase. You can create a spreadsheet model that shows the increase in visitors you would get from a higher budget, and then model it through a funnel using the conversion rates and average store size to show the increase in revenue you would expect from these changes.
