Anyone who is an admin or owner on your GBP listing will be notified when someone leaves you a message/chat, so you may want to set up guidelines for how or who will respond to messages.

Also, make sure you respond to messages within 24 hours . Google may remove your permission to send messages if you take more than 24 hours to respond.

Local customers love to see photos . Photos are also a great way to engage people who see your profile - and Google loves engagement.

Click the Add Photo button and you can choose to upload a photo, company logo, or cover photo.

When you select Photos, you can upload a photo or 30-second video by either dragging it from your computer to the designated section, or clicking the blue "Select photos or videos" option and selecting a file from your computer:

Adding a logo or cover image works pretty much the same way. The thing to keep in mind with a cover image is that you can choose a cover image, but ultimately it's Google that decides which cover image appears on your profile page.
