I loved the unboxing experience offered by the taiwan telegram data Nothing Phone 2a. Even though it’s not a premium smartphone, the experience of taking it out of the box was special. The packaging design, the fonts used, the welcome note, the transparent USB-C cable connectors, and the SIM eject tool all seem carefully thought out and designed to make you feel delighted. Well done, Nothing!
Design and build quality
The back is the standout part of the Nothing Phone 2a. The top of the phone has a bump with two cameras. The circular coil around it is thought to be the phone’s NFC antenna. The back is made of clear plastic and has a curved shape. Below it, on the top half of the phone, are three notification lights that are used for notifications – another design element that is common to Nothing phones.
Those eyes!
As for the colors, there is a white version, a black one the one I got for testing and a gray one. You can see them in the photo below. I think this is one of the few phones that doesn’t look so good in black, instead I like the white and gray version on the right. What about you?
