Chatbots are just the tip of the iceberg for AI capabilities. Insurance and financial services companies are starting to successfully deploy “smart” digital advisors powered by Watson, IBM’s cognitive computing system. USAA, a financial services provider to the military and their families, uses a Watson-powered app that its clients can ask questions to as they leave the military. Australian bank ANZ also began rolling out Watson Engagement Advisors in its wealth planning department last fall. There, 400 financial planners will eventually use the cognitive computing platform.
Another category of machines that perform specific tasks automatically and may also have natural language processing capabilities. Blue Prism, a company that develops robotic process automation software, has created software bots that perform non-customer-facing administrative work by combining data from disparate systems.
Gartner believes that while AI is advancing rapidly, true pakistan whatsapp data transformation using it will take another two to 10 years. And general-purpose AI (where machines actually start “thinking” for themselves) will come even later. Analysts agree that AI adoption should be gradual, starting with the simplest systems. Early adoption will help employees get used to these types of systems, and IT managers will be able to figure out how to train users on new capabilities.
