Will see new initiatives

Post by rakhirhif8963 »

The need to ensure security of the software supply chain is highlighted by recent incidents involving CodeCov, Solarwinds, Kaseya, and the ua-parser-js NPM package.

2022 , projects, and even new startups focused on managing a secure software supply chain.

Another interesting trend is eBPF, which allows cloud native developers to build secure networking, service mesh, and observability components.

We've seen Isovalent bring eBPF to container networking via Cilium, Pixie (acquired by New Relic) use it to build an observability stack, Falco and Tracee use eBPF for security event monitoring and alerting, and we've also seen the emergence of Sidecar-less proxies for service mesh.

eBPF is expected to become the foundation for security and networking in the native cloud.

4. Kubevirt comes to the forefront
Kubevirt is an open-source project that enables chile mobile database to orchestrate virtual machines as containers. By running virtual machines and containers side by side, customers can easily integrate legacy workloads with modern microservices-based applications. They will also benefit from simplified DevOps workflows for managing both workloads.

Kubevirt is already an integral part of Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Rancher Harvester, Platform9 Managed Kubernetes, and Google Anthos.

In 2022, we will see a surge in Kubevirt adoption and integration with Kubernetes, where virtual machines will be treated as first-class citizens.

5. GitOps is becoming the standard for continuous deployment
