Legislation on NFT regulation in Russia must be developed as soon as possible. Experts from the ANO "Digital Economy" insist on this. In their opinion, it is the lack of regulation that is the main obstacle to the development of this market, preventing legal entities from entering it and attracting external financing.

However, according to independent expert in the field of digital financial instruments Margarita Starostina, there are several potential challenges. First of all, this is the creation of the appropriate infrastructure, which will require serious efforts to integrate such platforms with the business processes of participants in foreign economic activity and the involvement of a large number of specialists. It will also be necessary to solve the problems of currency conversion, both traditional and digital. It will be necessary to create mechanisms and tools for settlements that would take into account the specifics of regulation in different countries. Also, according to Margarita Starostina, it is necessary to be prepared for tightening regulation by the EU, the US and other countries that have imposed sanctions.
