Adding security questions to your login screenFirst, you need to install and activate the two-factor authentication plugin . For more details, see our step-by-step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin .

This tutorial uses the free version of the plugin. The free version allows you to set up security questions for up to three users, who must have the administrator role .

If you want to use the plugin with multiple users or users who are not administrators, you must purchase a premium license .

Once activated, you will need to visit the Multifactor Authentication » Two-Factor page to customize the plugin's settings. There, simply click on the "Configure" button, which you will find at the end of the "Security Questions" section.

On the next page you can select two questions from the drop-down menus. You must enter the third question yourself.
