What does unwillingness to work after vacation indicate: explanation from psychologist Spizhevoy
After a vacation, a person is often overcome by a feeling of disgust towards work. In an interview with FederalPress, psychologist, lecturer of the Russian Society "Knowledge", head of the project "School of Parents of the New Generation" Grigory Spizhevoy told what this state indicates and how to overcome it.
"If our body is fine and our psychological health is also at the proper level, then after vacation we want to start working, we want to join the work collective. This means that we have rested and our body is ready to perform the tasks set. But there are exceptions," the expert noted.
Spizhevoy clarified that there are two main reasons for the reluctance to work after a vacation: post-vacation syndrome and neurasthenia.
A simpler situation is post-vacation syndrome, a bc data america in which there is a low mood, unwillingness to work, drowsiness. According to the psychologist, it will pass on its own in 5-7 days.
The first of them is to start gradually. First, set yourself small, simple tasks so that the psyche can smoothly enter the working rhythm. During the day (every hour) take a short break for 3-5 minutes - walk to the water cooler, for example.
Spizhevoy also urged to organize your evenings well. The fact is that monotony of cognitive load leads to emotional burnout - days become routine and similar to each other. Plan every evening, for example, on Monday you go to the gym, on Tuesday - to the cinema or theater, on Wednesday - meet with friends, spend Thursday at home, and dedicate Friday to your favorite hobby.
