A regional telemedicine information system has been launched in the Kemerovo Region. The solution was developed on the basis of the "N3. Telemedicine Consultations" service of the company "Netrika Meditsina" (part of N3.Group and the GC "Tashir MEDIKA").

Such consultations facilitate equal access of all citizens to highly qualified medical care, and allow for prompt decision-making in complex clinical cases or emergency situations when it comes to the patient's life," notes KOMIATS Director Olesya Prindul.

The "seamless" implementation of the new system was facilitated by the testing stage, which was conducted with the participation of two pilot clinics and took three months. Then the region carried out large-scale work, including training of medical personnel, fine-tuning of processes within medical institutions, and development of the TMK protocol in the format of an electronic document.

As a result, the number of TMCs conducted in the region has increased more than fourfold: from 1,057 last year to 4,482 this year. In addition, in 2023, consultations covered all districts of the Kemerovo Region, including the most remote ones. Kuzbass doctors conducted the largest number of TMCs in the areas of "Cardiology" (754) and "Oncology" (435).

The TMK service connects doctors from cities and territories that are separated by hundreds of kilometers. For example, doctors from Prokopyevsk managed to save a patient injured in a traffic accident thanks to a telemedicine consultation conducted with colleagues from Kemerovo.

In 2023, the Kemerovo Region also launched TMC in the "doctor-patient" format. The solution was deployed on the basis of the regional patient portal, updated this spring with the participation of specialists from the company "Netrika Medicine". About 1.2 thousand residents of Kuzbass use the portal daily.
