An analysis of design contracts concluded after this date conducted by NOSTROY showed that in January 2022, more than 90% of them did not provide for the use of TIM. Now the number of contracts that do not contain a requirement for an information model has decreased threefold, and the downward trend continues. At the same time, I would like to draw attention to the low level of digital modeling at the stages of project implementation following design. Of the 1,779 projects using TIM that were monitored, more than a thousand of them lost the digital model at the "Design Completed" stage, and only 41 projects retained it by the "Construction" stage, which is 2.3%.

Today, no one argues with the inevitability and objective necessity of digitalization of construction, the expert continues. "We have excellent examples from St. Petersburg and Tatarstan, clearly convincing that it is possible and necessary to work with digital technologies. But there is also data indicating a slowdown in the process in the regions. It is very important to avoid a formal approach, which will ultimately push companies out of the competitive environment. Transition periods are over, this work must be carried out not "for show", but consciously, in accordance with the strategic goals of construction," urges Anton Moroz.

In general, it turns out that the planned and declared mandatory transition to BIM/TIM still looks like an extremely difficult task. And it seems that the biggest "snag" here should be regional development companies, which are usually classified as small, called not very advanced and considered not very financially and personnel-rich.
