In the following sections, we'll look at how to view the mobile version of your WordPress website on a desktop.

We will introduce 2 different methods you can use to test how your website looks on mobile in desktop browsers. You can click the links below to jump to any section:


Method 1: Using the WordPress Theme Customizer
You can use the WordPress theme customizer to preview the mobile version of your WordPress website.


Go to theme customizer from WordPress dashboard
The WordPress Theme Customizer will then open.

Simply click on the mobile phone icon at the bottom of the screen.

You will then see a preview of what your website will look like on mobile devices.

This method of previewing the mobile version is especially useful if you haven't created your blog yet or if it is in maintenance mode .

You can now make changes to your website and see how it looks before you put it into production.
