This is a model that has already been tested and established in Germany. More than 50% of the population in Germany has obtained a qualification within the dual system of vocational training.

In Spain we say that the dual FP offer in Spain does not yet exceed 5% of the total places in vocational training.

The aim of the Training and Apprenticeship Contracts is to increase this percentage and make access to this dual training a true reality.

Training and Apprenticeship Contracts currently account for 0.21% of all Contracts in Spain, while last year it was 0.96%.

7. Finally, could you give us some jordan phone data information on how this training is evolving in Spain?
In the educational field, the number of students who choose this modality is gradually increasing significantly, as are the number of companies that opt for this type of job placement.

We must make one point, though: it is a 200% increase in both students and participating centres, but within moderate limits. We are talking about around 10,000 students throughout Spain, 375 training centres and 1,500 companies.

In contrast, in the field of Vocational Training for Employment, we are talking about 30,593 Training and Apprenticeship Contracts in these first months of the year. Three times the number offered in the educational field.

It is worth noting that although the number of Contracts is three times higher in the field of Vocational Training for Employment, the number of participating companies does suffer a much greater increase, since they do not opt for this model through calls, also hiring a high number of students but their hiring is less planned and with a smaller number of employees.

Dual Vocational Training aimed at students of educational cycles is used by companies with a larger volume (turnover, employees, etc.) than Dual Vocational Training for Employment, in which the majority of companies have less than 25 employees.

Furthermore, the sector that uses this type of contract the most is the Services sector, so that we can understand the X-ray of companies.

To sum up and conclude, I would like to provide a dose of optimism and hope for a model that has all the foundations to become the best gateway for our young people to enter the labour market.

The Administration must translate these good ideas into practice by using all possible tools to ensure this, and in an environment of cohesion with all the actors in this model: Companies, Workers and Training Centres.
