One of the most frequently asked questions you ask us on social media is whether the training we offer adds value to your CV. In Spain, there is, on the one hand, the Regulated Vocational Training System (which depends on the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and the Autonomous Communities); on the other, there is the Employment Training System (which is linked to the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, through the SEPE).
Now I am going to explain both definitions to you to clarify all your doubts about formal and non-formal training.
Formal training
Set of teachings that are within the Spanish Education System that are taught (in person, remotely or mixed), in public or private teaching centers, schools and institutes, universities, training argentina phone data academies, etc. In this case, the student obtains an official degree with academic validity .
The Spanish Education System is made up of the following regulated teachings:
Preschool education and early childhood education.
Primary education.
Compulsory secondary education (ESO).
High school. Vocational training.
University education (with official university degrees).
Special regime teachings: artistic and languages.
Non-regulated training
That which is NOT contemplated by the Ministry of Education, but by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.
It is adapted to society and its mission is to train and qualify people for work, as well as to update their skills and knowledge throughout their professional life. The fact that non-formal training does not allow the obtaining of an official degree does not mean that it is not useful for specializing and thus being able to get a job. The student receives a degree with curricular validity.
It consists of Courses, Postgraduate or Masters. This training is provided by private training centers, private universities or business schools.
They are very oriented to the labor market. Some of the most common Non-Regulated Higher Education Studies are:
Studies related to the business world
Creativity and communication studies, such as graphic design, photography, video, television, corporate image, among others.
Civil action, such as Civil Aviation Pilot or Flight Attendant.
Studies related to experimental sciences such as, for example, the environment .
Studies related to hospitality: cooking or bartending, among others.
