New changes are coming to Instagram . If a few days ago I told you that Instagram wants you to be able to put music on your Stories , now, an improvement that has been requested by many users for some time, is closer: being able to “mute” , or in other words, stop seeing the posts and stories of those users that do not interest you, without stopping following their accounts.

It should be noted that this option is already available on Facebook , to stop displaying in your “timeline” the posts of users that contribute little to you, or that you simply do not want to have in your history of other people's posts. Personally, I am one of those who think that if someone does not interest you, if they do not contribute or if they do not publish anything, it is best not to have a relationship with that account, and not to patch up a “digital friendship” .

But Zuckerberg 's networks are list of telegram users in iraq committed to not "cutting to the chase" and leaving it up to each user to silence others without having to break off said "digital friendship . "

The formula for unfollowing posts of little interest is not yet operational for all users; it will be established gradually in the coming weeks . But it is known what they must do to achieve this goal:

If they change their mind, or if the muted accounts start showing content of interest again, they can undo the action by unchecking the process.

The account you mute will not be notified of such an action; they will still be able to see your posts by going directly to your profile. They will also receive notifications if you mention them or comment on their posts.

Social media continues to incorporate updates, changes and improvements; what is trending today may not be so tomorrow. The best future for social media is, without a doubt, its present.
