Business competition is healthier than incompetence…

When we talk about business competition, we always become alert; we have the feeling that the word competition should be kept as far away as possible…

Have you not heard that phrase that says something like…

Do you have to keep your enemies close in order to keep an eye on them?

Well, maybe this is where the first mistake lies… Competition is not an enemy , it is a spur to improve. A stimulus that we should not copy, but rather improve or that helps us generate new ideas, projects, campaigns or ways of doing things.


If we look at “digital competition” , they will even be able to do it in a less expensive and much simpler way, price monitoring , latest additions, new services, without forgetting campaigns or know-how, are some aspects that, in an agile way, they will be able to obtain.

There are tools that work very well, websites that make this digital study not an impediment to improving the competitiveness of your business unit. and I can control different items in record time.

So far, everything is fine, but, as the title of this article says, “business competition is healthier than incompetence” , as long as, with the information extracted, they are able to implement improvements.

Some tips on business competition:

Detect whether it is direct or indirect competition.
To define this item, you must take into account aspects such as price range, target, sales scope, etc.

Classify the degree of competence.
Gold : capital service or product for your business unit.

Silver : Service or product list of telegram users in india that your company has in its portfolio but that does not represent the majority of revenue.

Bronze : service or product that is completely secondary to the company, and that, even if it disappeared, would do practically no harm to society.

Creating a series of improvement ideas.
Once the competition has been studied in all its areas, it is advisable to generate a list of ideas for improvement, of actions that could be carried out (in the short, medium and long term).

Schedule the above actions.
It will be of little use to study business competition and generate appropriate actions to seek continuous improvement if they do not implement them.

To achieve this goal, it is ideal to establish a “deadline” especially in the short term. Set aspects such as date, time, person responsible and resources needed for each of the actions.
