Thijs Sprangers from KREM presents us with the 5P model, which they use to help companies set up their social organization. The 5p model assumes that there is already a strategy and that you have passed the experimental phase. Because that always comes first, of course. He also refers to the Hub and Spoke model of the Altimeter group, in which a cross-functional team is given a central place in the organization and helps various business units and questions. According to research from 2011, 41% of organizations already use this model for their social media setup.

The 5 P's stand for People, Platform, Position, Planning/Program and Process. All 5 P's must (of course) be balanced brother cell phone list His presentation deals with this -in my opinion- very workable and logical model quite clearly. Although there are already several (usable) models, it is always nice to have a choice and to choose the model that fits your organization and situation.

The Hybrid PR professional by Deirdre Breakenridge The Social Conference 2012 - photo: Gitta BartlingHR professionals need to innovate!
Deirde Breakenridge closed the day with her call to PR professionals to renew themselves to a Hybrid PR Professional . According to her, this is inevitable if you want to remain active in PR and want to involve organizations in their necessary change to a 'social business'.

Too bad she had an unprofessional, rigid and 'old-fashioned' presentation , didn't really have anything new to say (certainly if you've heard her speak before or follow her a bit online) - and above all that she was scheduled at the end of the day. This was not the juicy finale the conference deserved. Then that drink!
