You can noindex an entire website, or any individual page. This tag means that you are telling search engines not to index the page in search . In layman's terms, no one will ever find this page.

During development , while you are working on the page and do not want to show it to search engines

On thank you pages for logging in or submitting a form. Only users who have met a condition (for example, when submitting an inquiry form) should logically be directed to these pages.

Logged-in-only pages – if you have pages on your website for logged-in users, they should be marked as noindex. Again, this makes sense, as their content is intended only for the eyes of your fans, employees or VIP clients, and should not be accessible to the public.

If you share duplicate content : If you are interviewed in an online job seekers database media outlet, you can share it on your own blog. However, to avoid being penalized for duplication, mark the article with both the noindex and nofollow attributes.
