Blogging has become so popular over the past decade that the global numbers may surprise even the most seasoned bloggers.
There are nearly 1.7 billion sites online. Of those sites, about 600 million are blogs. Today we’ll be looking at two very popular blogging platforms , WordPress and Blogger, and seeing which one is the best. We’ll also be talking about the open source CMS WordPress.org , a self-hosted version of WordPress that you fully own.

WordPress and Blogger Overview
Both WordPress and Blogger platforms have a unique history. To understand a little more about both before getting into the comparison part, let’s do a quick review of both.
WordPress Overview
