They describe the unit of measurement (grams, milligrams, kilograms, etc.), the quantity and volume of the required ingredients;

category — a type of dish. This property appeared thanks to the Yandex extension. It does not exist in the regular version of the microformat;
instructions — description of the procedure for preparing the dish.

You can enter either text data or HTML encoding Slovenia cell phone number list into it. This element can contain images that display the process of preparing the described dish. This property is also missing in the regular version of the microformat and was added by the Yandex search engine extension.
Properties that are optional to use
The hRecipe microformat also contains properties that do not need to be used. These include:

yield — how many servings this recipe is designed for. The data is entered in text format;
duration — here you specify how much time it takes to prepare the dish. You can enter the data as text or using a string in ISO8601 format;
autor — the name or nickname of the person who came up with this recipe. The value can be specified in two ways: text or a microformat card hCard ;
nutrition — the energy value of the finished dish is set. The text indicates the amount of proteins, fats and carbohydrates per 100 grams. And the number of calories in the food is also noted.
As a result, hRecipe is a microformat that is useful only for culinary sites. On the one hand, you can do without it, but on the other hand, it allows search engines to correctly form information for the search results page. Accordingly, it can become the reason for attracting an additional audience to the web resource. It has four mandatory and optional properties. At the same time, several mandatory properties did not exist in the regular version of hRecipe. They appeared only thanks to the expansion of the Yandex search engine.
