Questionable advertising with dead base jumpers

Unfortunately, advertising is also spread when it pushes the boundaries of good taste. An advertisement by Deutsche Bahn with the slogan "Lauterbrunnen is where people fall from the sky" was not appreciated everywhere. Because it is well known that base jumpers fall to their deaths there quite often.

The advertisement was distributed free of charge netherlands rcs data by various newspapers. Fantastic advertising for the magazine "Mobil" too. Advertisers should always ask themselves where the line should be drawn - with stories that attract attention through accidents or the death of fellow human beings.

In my opinion, it is a no-go in advertising to market a product at the expense of tragic events. Even in political advertising, SVP National Councillor Christoph Mörgeli did not realise that one should not make political capital by using images of refugees - that is, on the backs of people suffering.

Deutsche Bahn's advertising exceeded more than just the limits of good taste. The majority of marketing experts would certainly agree on that.
