Threads is still alive? What is the situation a month after its creation?
At first, Threads looked pretty crude: messages from people you didn’t know would appear in your feed, even if you were subscribed to an account, it was pretty hard to see their posts, and the algorithm didn’t always recommend them to you.

Threads First Month Update
However, now the henan cell phone number list social network is already a bitupdated its functionality:

Following feed appeared;

added the ability to translate messages;
In the Activity section, we created a Subscribers tab, which will allow you to see who has recently subscribed to you and quickly follow them back;
Users now have the option to enable notifications about posts from accounts that they are not following.
Ukrainian brands still remain on Threads, although most of them are already essentially duplicating content from Twitter and other social networks.

Threads Audience Halved: Statistics
However, the hype around Threads is starting to die down. This is confirmed by analytics. According toestimatesSimilarweb, on its peak day (July 7), Threads had more than 49 million daily active Android users worldwide. By July 14, Threads' active users had dropped to 23.6 million. Time spent using the social network also decreased, initially averaging 21 minutes. However, by July 14, that number had dropped to 6 minutes.

Live communication = unexpected collaborations
In the weeks since Threads made waves, the platform has created opportunities for unexpected collaborations.

For example, the Ukrainian manufacturer of natural peanut butter, TOM (@maslotom), decided to joke on the very first day and ask Monobank how many likes it needed to collect to get cashback on paste purchases. Mono announced the figure of 1000 and the process began. In fact, both companies could have left the situation at the level of a joke, but on August 1, Monobank really did add a 20% cashback on purchases of TOM products.

Mark Zuckerberg's app also created conditions for easy establishment of international contacts. Ukrainian brands began to join Western trends and communicate with international companies directly.

However, now both Ukrainian and Western brands have turned their Threads accounts into a news feed. There are fewer and fewer jokes and lively discussions. They are replaced by mentions of new products from companies. Brands publish messages much less frequently. Most Ukrainian companies appear in the feed once a week, and not once every few hours, as it was in the beginning. International companies can be “met” even less often.

The information space is now occupied by influencers or media pages. For bloggers, opinion leaders and artists, this social network has become a place of freedom. There is no “polished” picture here. More and more often you can find just home photos, personal thoughts and jokes.

Threads – that's it?
Mark Zuckerberg is not giving up yet.

“I’m very optimistic about the unification of the Threads community. The early growth rate was off the charts, but more importantly, tens of millions of people are now returning every day. We’ll be focusing on refining the foundations and content for the last part of the year. It’ll take time to stabilize, but once we do, we’ll move on to growing the community ,” the Meta CEO said.

The developer himself remains active in the app, posting several messages a week and keeping the community “open” and “friendly.”

Mark Zuckerberg at Threads

Let's say right away that the author of the article is not predicting :) In general, it is too early to "write off" Zuckerberg's social networks. Yes, at first glance it seems that this application has become just something for brands and influencers to have fun and return to their previous content plans. However, Threads still has an active audience. Therefore, this platform is now a place for discovering new talents. Marketers, photographers, SMM specialists, small businesses - you can all still show yourself.

The new platform does not tolerate "dry" expertise yet, so think about memes and/or the "inner workings" of your work. These could be, for example:

just your opinion/reviews on current issues;
interesting facts about your niche;
short life hacks that can be implemented in just a few steps and get results;
of course memes about your niche/features of work.
The best strategy for promoting on Threads right now is to talk to people. In this case, the lack of a private messaging feature can be an advantage. Find like-minded people and communicate with them in threads. Like, repost. Any activity you do will make people pay attention to your account.

Give it a try, maybe you'll become a Threads star and people will come to the app every day just to see something new from you.
