The Polish ICT sector is still waiting for the implementation of the European Parliament and Council Directive establishing the European Electronic Communications Code (ECCC) in the country. The enactment of the Electronic Communications Act (ECA) will mean the introduction of new regulations to which companies, entrepreneurs, investors, providers of thailand mobile database electronic communications services and recipients of these services will have to adapt.

The UNECE Directive not only replaces and repeals existing legislation, but also introduces a number of new objectives and targets. These include:

Strengthen consumer legislation to make it easier and more protective to switch service providers across the EU.
Telecommunications services include services provided over the Internet that do not require the use of telephone numbers, for example instant messaging and email applications.
Affordable and adequate access to broadband must be offered to all consumers, regardless of where they live or their income.
Persons with disabilities must have equivalent access to telecommunications services.
EU countries will establish a public alert system that allows alerts to be sent to citizens on their mobile phones in the event of a threat of natural disaster or other state of emergency in their area.
EU countries will ensure regulatory predictability for operators when authorising the use of radio spectrum for wireless broadband communications .
New frequency bands for 5G connectivity will enable faster Internet connections and better connectivity.
