As the head of the ANO "Digital Economy" recalled, the main directions of this program were approved at the strategic session on AI development, which was held by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on September 26, 2023. The first, as stated by Sergei Plugotarenko, will be measures to expand the export of Russian products using AI, for which everything is already ready.

Alexey Sidoryuk, Director of the Digital Transformation of Industries Department at the Digital Economy ANO, called 2023 the era of transition from narrow AI to expert AI, which significantly expanded the scope of application of the relevant tools, which bring tangible results. He drew special attention not only to generative AI, which is in the spotlight, but also to a number of other areas where it is less noticeable - for example, the widespread use of biometric identification, the launch of commercial movement of driverless trucks on the M11 highway or completely driverless taxis in Innopolis, and the active growth of the use of intelligent medical products. For example, the Ministry of Health has obliged to introduce at least one product using AI in each region by 2023, and, as Deputy Minister of Health of Russia Pavel Pugachev said at the IX Telemedicine Forum, this order will be fulfilled. This figure has been tripled for 2024.
