These entities are probably filing in the registry because of the legal definition of a hosting provider — "a person providing services for the provision of computing power for hosting information in an information system that is permanently connected to the Internet."

Such a legal entity provides other companies in the group with its own capacity for hosting and storing information, and accordingly carries out hosting activities and, therefore, must be included in the register.

Information that needs to be provided to the host includes:

data on autonomous systems on which hosting services are provided,
information about all IP addresses,
location of computing power (both own and rented),
information about the information security tools used,
information about traffic exchange points to which the hosting provider's infrastructure is connected, etc.
