GDPR, or the General Data Protection Regulation , is an EU law that regulates how personal data is processed. It is a set of rules that aim to protect the privacy and rights of individuals.

What does the GDPR Act say?

Will a CV without GDPR even be accepted in recruitment?

Failure to include the GDPR issue will most likely always result in your application being rejected. What's more, according to the regulations, recruiters cannot consider a CV without an appropriate data protection clause. Therefore, before sending your CV, you need to make sure that it includes an appropriate GDPR note if you do not want companies to automatically reject your application.

Version required by the employer:
Some employers may require a personalised GDPR clause that meets their own data protection requirements or standards. In this case, you should tailor the clause to the employer’s specific requirements, which will typically be included in the job offer.

However, remember to change the GDPR version when applying for other positions !
